reading 2

I'm not sure how many of those are available in English (except the obvious of course, like Lily Brett), I do know that one of *the* most important books of my life was translated. That would be Brigitte Schwaiger's "Wie kommt das Salz ins Meer/Why Is There Salt in the Sea?". I've been reading this book for 35 years again and again, and, to me, it never gets old, and, again to me, it's relevant, even though it was written in 1977. And R.I.P., Brigitte Schwaiger, I wish you wouldn't have chosen the "shorter way", as you called it.
